Luisago (CO), 12 december 2025 – ACI blueteam was recently featured in an in-depth interview published by Everex Magazine, where our CTO, Eng. Sandro Calzoni, shared his perspective on the challenges and real opportunities of integrating Artificial Intelligence within a large and highly structured organization.
According to Calzoni, the main challenge is not purely technological: “AI requires a new relationship with the machine. It does not provide certainties, but the most probable answer — and this fundamentally changes how people must interact with digital systems.” A cultural shift that, in complex businesses, can be even more demanding than the technology itself.
During the interview, Calzoni highlights the risks of the current AI “hype”, the importance of distinguishing true intelligence from simple automation, and the need to adopt new technologies only where they provide measurable value. He also reflects on how Large Language Models open new opportunities, particularly in areas such as data extraction, translations, and operational support.
ACI blueteam is already integrating AI into several internal projects: ranking systems to enhance travel proposal selection, predictive models to assess delays and cancellations, RAG-based tools to support travel consultants with operational documentation, and supervised solutions that convert unstructured emails into structured data.
Calzoni summarizes this strategic approach clearly: “For us, technology should not increase quantity, but elevate quality. AI must support our professionals — not replace them.”
